The Regimental Journal of The Royal Welsh, Y Cymro (The Welshman), is edited by the Regimental Secretary and is published annually in June each year. The edition No 1 was published in June 2007. The Editor welcomes articles and correspondence relating to the Regiment, the former Regiments and its soldiers. The Royal Welch Fusiliers

Y Ddraig Goch, (The Red Dragon) the Regimental Journal of the Royal Welch Fusiliers was first published in 1922. The number of issues each year varied from two to finally four until Spring 1940. During 1939-45 war the Journal was replaced with Regimental Newsletters averaging two issues a year. Y Ddraig Goch as a Journal recommenced in 1946 with two issues a year. In 1976 publication was reduced to one issue a year usually in the Spring to coincide with St David’s Day. The final issue, being Volume XXVIII No 4, was published in February 2007. The South Wales Borderers and Monmouthshire Regiment

The Journal of South Wales Borderers and Monmouthshire Regiment was initially edited by Lieutenant Colonel GC Thomas DSO OBE. Edition 1 was published in November 1931. Prior to this a 4-page annual newsletter published between 1926 and 1930. The final edition of the Borderers Journal was No. 75, published in March 1969. Viewing copies are held at the Brecon Museum.
